the winner of the howard travel rib-eating contest at 2012 brockville ribfest was yes-fm! way to go yes-fm!
Once again this year at Brockville RibFest we are offering you the opportunity to
pig-out! Challenge your friends, co-workers, family members or other businesses by supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville.
This challenge requires teams of four. It is a minimum of $100 to enter a team (only $25 per person) and there are many ways you can come up with the money. You can get sponsors to donate the money to you, get your friends and family to pledge you or shake out your piggy bank. Either way get your money together because you will want to be part of this free fun-filled family food festival.
The contest will be a relay style race where contestants will each take a turn eating their juicy grilled ribs as fast as they can. After each player finishes their ribs the team who pigged out the fastest will win.
This event is being held on Friday, August 9th at Hardy Park at 6 p.m. ON THE MAIN STAGE during RibFest. It is an event for all ages. It is the perfect opportunity to show everyone how much you love ribs!
Registration will be closing Friday August 2 so hurry and get your registration forms in. Be a part of the magic and participate in this year’s 7th annual Rib-Eating Contest to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Leeds and Grenville. All the proceeds from this event will go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters programs.
Many great prizes to be won!
The team with the best team spirit will also receive a prize. So suit up, paint your faces or come up with some unique way to show how much team spirit you have and be prepared to pig-out on some delicious, juicy, mouth watering ribs!
